Medical Director/Partner
Dr. Amy Bednarek, is a Los Angeles native and joined our team at Point Vicente Animal Hospital in September 2013 and became a partner in 2018. After an extensive career in the entertainment business, Dr. Bednarek decided to follow her true passion of veterinary medicine and has never looked back. She received her DVM from Kansas State University in 2006.
Prior to joining the staff at Point Vicente Animal Hospital, Dr. Bednarek worked at a small animal general practice near downtown Los Angeles for 7 years. Some of her interests include cardiology, senior pet care, emergency based cases and of course new puppies and kittens. She enjoys coming to work every day and making a difference in a pet’s life.
Dr. Bednarek has two teenagers; two cats “Sabu” and Fraggle”, an active pup named "Carter" and enjoys running, biking, hiking and traveling. You may see her running or walking around the neighborhood.
