Point Vicente Animal Hospital is looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or experienced Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate and collaborative team.
Our five-doctor hospital cares for dogs, cats, birds, and exotic pets, which means every day brings something new. One minute you're monitoring anesthesia, the next you're helping a nervous puppy through its first visit or assisting with the care of a curious cockatiel. Use Your Skills and Keep Growing
As a Veterinary Technician, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our patients and supporting the doctors and team around you.
You'll have opportunities to:
- Assist with appointments and patient treatments
- Monitor anesthesia and support surgical procedures
- Perform dental prophylaxis and dental radiography
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments
- Perform venipuncture and place IV catheters
- Care for hospitalized patients and boarding pets
- Educate clients and help them feel confident in their pets' care
- Collaborate with doctors and teammates to provide outstanding medicine
